ABOUT THE JERSEY CITY COMEDY FESTIVAL
The Jersey City Comedy Festival is produced by Art House Productions and began in 2018. Over the years, the festival has featured a wide range of comedic forms, including sketch, improv, musical comedy, and comedy podcasts. The festival has since evolved to focus on a series of stand-up comedy competition showcases, alongside performances by nationally recognized headliners.
Two winners from each showcase—an Audience Pick and an Industry Pick—advance to a final competition, where they can win cash prizes and performance opportunities at local clubs. The Jersey City Comedy Festival places a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, celebrating a wide range of voices and perspectives in comedy
